The Cutest Photography Assistant Ever

Back in January, the need for a children's photography assistant, with emphasis on child, became paramount. I've got two weddings coming up and even on the routine baby photography sessions, an extra hand would be more than welcome. My assistant would have to do the following:
  • Provide an extra hand to move strobe lights and carry photography equipment
  • Lend a sense of humor to put clients at ease
  • Compose good photographs since the assistant would be called to act as a 2nd photographer in the case of weddings
  • Attractive since I have to work with the person all day they might as well be cute
  • Work for a pittance since that's all I really make these days
It's a tall order, but the shoes are being filled by someone, uh, shorter. Check it out:

Apparently the L-Series professional lens (first one) are a bit much for her to hold, but here's yet another reason I can recommend the "nifty fifty" 50mm Canon lens (the second one): even a toddler can use it. And although the composition could use a little work, Zoe seems willing to work for food (lots of food). And if anyone needs a child model, Aidan gets the job done without any of the attitude.

Technical Note: Video shot with a Canon G9 point and shoot. All post processing was done by yours truly. Zoe can work the mouse pretty well but is still has a ways to go on using Photoshop.
