To the Ends of the Earth

... or at least the peninsula. We were itching to do something super fun, so Saturday morning we packed the car and drove into San Francisco. First stop Yerba Buena Gardens. If you haven't been, let me sum it up with this 5 second video:

We subsequently ate some tasty dim sum, checked out the farmer's market at the Ferry building and rode the F-train. We tried to nap Zoe in the stroller, but we were having so much fun she couldn't sleep so we packed up the car and headed to the Tech Museum in San Jose. Everyone (including myself nearly) fell asleep in the car ride over. Before checking out the robotic arm that spells your name we even crashed a graduation party where a nice lady gave us some wine glasses and congratulated us on our accomplishments.

Photography Technical Note: Much to my wife's surprise, I decided that the day was about participating in the fun versus being an observer, so all my equipment stayed home. Both the video and picture were taken with a Canon G9 point and shoot. The later was taken at 1/15 sec at f/2.8, ISO 200 to blur the mechanical arm and minimize the noise from the low lighting. A little post processing was used to highlight the bricks.
